L0.4 Pictures from Browick Road School

The pictures below are from our performances and talks and Browick road infant school. Below the pictures there will be a short bit of writing saying what is going on in the picture. 

In this picture above we were playing games with the yr 2 children. This worked well because all the children joined in and everyone enjoyed the game.

This is when we had a group of four children each and we discussed what they had seen, what they learnt and what liked and disliked about today. This went quite well as well cause everyone joined in and gave answers to the questions we asked.

The picture shows everyone discussing what they have learnt and seen.......Most people joined in and answered any questions we asked them.

In this picture it shows us lot talking to the yr 2s at the end and we asked them questions like what have they learnt to do and what they have learnt not to do, we got some good answers back from the yr2s like we learnt to donate or we learnt not to throw things that are in good condition in the bin. Most children answered the questions.

                                

In the picture above it shows a couple of the children showing everyone a little play they had made up on how to share or how not to toys with others. The plays they had made were good and showed us clearly how to share and how not to share.

making my shoe lesson 3

Tuesday 7th December 2010 today i finished of the basic template of my shoe. I finished mod rocking my shoe so there was no gaps and i got the right shape i wanted, also i made a heel for the shoe i made it out of mod roc by rolling a layer of mod roc tightly then dipping it in water and finally molding it into a heel shape. I then attached the heel onto the bottom of the shoe using more mod roc. I think i am doing pretty well so far with the making of my shoe because i have mad most of the shoe. Next lesson i am getting my artifact book back which will have been marked by Miss Pinnington and have a list of all the things i have left to do in my book. Next lesson i will start to decorate my shoe and first i will paint my whole shoe black and then i am going to add some beads/gems onto the heel.

Tuesday 7^th December 2010

Dear the Red Cross Charity Shop,

                                                          On Tuesday the 30^th of November we all went to Browick Infant school to inform them about donating and get the point of donating across to everyone. Two groups performed a play about donating. My group and I performed a play showing the children why you should donate to the Red Cross charity and in our play we told them what the Red Cross charity does to help others and where to donate there old toys/clothes. We also told them that when they donate anything to the charity shop that it has to be in good condition and not broken because otherwise they will not be able to sell the toys or clothes and wont raise any money. We also informed them on where the money you raise goes and what it does. Unfortunately we haven’t had any donations from anyone but we are still advertising and telling people to donate. We think that we haven’t had any6 donations because it is so close to Christmas and people haven’t got the time to sort through all their clothes and toys. Hopefully we will get more donations after Christmas because people will be having clearouts to make room for their new toys and clothes ect.
